Dr. Florian Anderhuber, Deputy Director General at Euromines, will participate in a panel discussion at the Minerals Council of Australia (MCA)’s Minerals Week 2026, taking place from 23-25 March 2026 in Canberra, Australia. Dr. Anderhuber will discuss the EU’s perspective on resilience, and the role of raw materials in local content and “Buy European” requirements. He will explore the upcoming RESourceEU initiative, friendshoring value chains, and increasing market interventions, such as stockpiling and price-flooring tools, with a focus on how to align and strengthen these efforts across jurisdictions.
