Mine Closure 2025 is an international conference dedicated to advancing sustainable mine closure practices. Hosted by the Australian Centre for Geomechanics (ACG) in collaboration with Emeritus Sven Knutsson from Luleå University of Technology, and Euromines member Svemin, this event will take place in Luleå, Sweden from 23-25 September 2025.

The conference will bring together global experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to discuss the latest innovations, challenges, and solutions in mine closure.
