We, at Euromines are very sorry for the loss of life of 41 miners in a coal mine accident in Turkey’s northern Bartin province. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and colleagues affected by this tragedy.
The state-owned mine is not a member of Euromines. However, we are concerned by this accident in the town of Amasra town in the Black Sea province of Bartinis in Turkey. We will strive to identify and share the lessons to be learned from this accident, with our members and the industry at large.
