Programme
It is becoming increasingly well-known that Europe needs to secure a sustainable domestic supply of raw materials. In this context, it is crucial to promote sustainable management of the resources needed to deliver minerals and metals to the market.
For the European mining sector, one of these indispensable resources is water. It is in high demand for both production and the innovation required for decarbonization, and the Green Deal among others.
The EU raw materials mining sector presents current best sustainable practices in water management as well as to explore new technologies applicable to different national realities.
