Booths are now available for the METS 2018 trade show!
In April 2018, one of the three elements of the European Commission-funded MDNP project will take place in Madrid. The Mining Exploration and Trade Show Conference (METS) will feature prominent speakers from across the non-energy extractive industry and workshops covering a variety of relevant topics in the field. Leading experts in the mining industry, its downstream consumers and its service and technology suppliers will discuss issues around investment, trade, technology, consulting services, infrastructure, training and skills, health and safety, good governance and other relevant areas of the value chain.
Parallel to this, a trade show will occur where machinery producers, academic institutions, bodies of government, research and development pioneers, exploration companies and any other players in sectors related to mining can showcase their latest developments. The trade show has been designed to maximize networking capabilities, and exhibitors will enjoy a unique opportunity to connect with a wide variety of stakeholders across the entire mining value chain.
The EC is providing exhibition space free of charge – exhibitors only need to pay for the booth option they wish to use. They are also welcome to bring their own materials. Details of the offer can be found at www.mets2018.eu(link is external) or in the PDF below.
As part of the MDNP, the goal of METS 2018 is to help foster partnerships between EU markets and those of seven involved Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay). The event will take place in the presence of high level representatives of the Industry and Trade Ministries of the seven Latin-American countries, the EU Member States and the European Commission.
