The Raw Materials Week in Brussels was a great occasion to present the new edition of the Raw Materials Scoreboard. The scoreboard's purpose is to provide quantitative data on the EIP’s general objectives and on the raw materials policy context.

The Industry4Europe coalition, where Euromines is a member, has yesterday published a 'Joint Call to the candidates for the 2019 European Elections'. This Joint Call is available in 22 languages and is co-signed in every member state by both European and national associations representing industrial sectors from all branches of the economy.

Euromines’ newest book, Before it’s yours we mine it: Industry 4.0, was officially presented at the EUMICON conference that took place 26-27 September in Vienna. With an emphasis on the role of Industry 4.0 in the mining world, this book explores the role of raw materials in our daily lives as well as how mining as an industry has shaped European history and present society. 

In its latest Joint Paper the Industry4Europe coalition is calling for a long-term vision for the European industry that demands a long-term governance structure, which goes beyond the 6-month EU Presidency cycle and the 5-year mandate of the current European Commission. Industry4Europe is a large and unprecedented coalition, Euromines is one of its members, which brings together 129 European Industrial Federations representing all manufacturing sectors. The coalition has been producing different joint papers, helping the European Institutions to set the best Industrial Policy Strategy.
